About Re:Chain
WHO WE ARE
RE:CHAIN connects young Filipino talent with Japanese companies, fostering globally capable, job-ready professionals through practical, hands-on experience. Our initiative addresses two key societal challenges: Advancing the Philippine government’s efforts to develop globally competitive talent, and helping alleviate the labor shortages faced by Japan’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We are pioneering a new approach through local training-based matching, where Japanese companies collaborate with overseas educational institutions to cultivate “co-creative” talent equipped with cultural adaptability, Japanese language proficiency, and specialized skills. Our ultimate goal is to build a forward-looking talent development platform that supports the sustainable growth and global expansion of Japanese enterprises.
OUR VISION
Through global collaboration and innovation, we will create a world where businesses can overcome the challenges they face and open up new paths to growth.
OUR MISSION
Re:chain’s mission is to help businesses reconnect and revitalize by maximizing their potential through digital transformation. Message From The President
At RE:CHAIN, we are driven by the belief in “bridging talent beyond borders.” Our mission is to connect Japanese companies with exceptional global talent and to serve as a vital bridge between cultures and industries.
The “Bridge Talent” we advocate for are not just workers—they are partners who bring cultural insight and drive corporate transformation. As Japan faces a shrinking population and critical labor shortages, securing globally skilled talent is no longer optional; it is essential.
We are currently advancing our “Talent Development Lab” initiative, collaborating with universities in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia. This program provides an end-to-end talent pipeline—from education and training to internships and employment—empowering young professionals and supporting companies with sustainable, long-term solutions.
With a “global × local” perspective, RE:CHAIN will continue to create spaces for collaboration that transcend borders, technology, and culture.
I look forward to working together with you to unlock the future potential between Japan and the world.
THE PRESIDENT, RE:CHAIN
Mr. Masahiro Sonoda
